Eldercare Navigator

Reports to: Manager of Eldercare Locator
Position: Full-time grant
The mission of the Eldercare Locator is to provide information on, and connections to, resources in local communities for older adults and their caregivers. The position of Eldercare Navigator will be responsible primarily for responding to callers transferred from a call routing system for further assistance, callers requesting brochures, and callers requesting information on Indian tribal organizations. The position will also be responsible for administering outgoing customer satisfaction surveys, following up on voice messages, tracking data, and assisting with other
administrative issues involved in maintaining customer support and database updating. Flexibility in hours desirable.

Northwest Regional Council Bellingham, WA
The Northwest Regional Council, as an Area Agency on Aging, funds and/or provides community-based programs to help people live in their own homes and communities for as long as possible, postponing or eliminating the need for institutional care. The I&A/Case Management Supervisor coordinates and oversees program functions of the Northwest Regional Council's Skagit County office, including Case Management, Information and Assistance and Family Caregiver Support. The supervisor provides direct supervision, leadership, and training to a staff of nine to assure that the overall goals and objectives of the appropriate programs are met.
