Overview
The Senior Resource Alliance's Driver Safety Program is designed to promote safe mobility for life in three ways: Community Education and Outreach; Driver Skill Assessments; and Mobility Counseling. The program serves seniors, caregivers, families, and social service professionals.
Budget/Funding
The agency's funding for the Driver Safety Program is supported through foundation grants, client revenues from driver skill assessments, private donations, and a federal grant awarded by the state. During fiscal year 2004, the agency utilized approximately $75,000 of its total budget for the Driver Safety Program.
Outcomes
A formal evaluation is in the planning stages and will be completed by the fall of 2005.
