This open enrollment season is the time for Medicare beneficiaries to review their Medicare Part D plans. Research shows that individuals could have saved on average over $250 last year or received better drug coverage by comparing and changing their plans. Individuals and professionals wishing to compare plans can use the Medicare Plan Finder.

n4a Launches 2008 Aging Services Network Survey
n4a, through a partnership with Scripps Gerontology Center, is moving forward to build upon the knowledge gained from the 2007 Aging Network survey. The 2008 survey will capture information related to Project 2020, the new home and community-based strategy being promoted by n4a and the National Association of State Units on Aging (NASUA). The survey has been sent to all Area Agencies on Aging along with a survey password. Questions?

Milwaukee County Department on Aging Captures Top Innovations Award
Stephanie Stein accepted the top Aging Innovations award on behalf of the Milwaukee County Department on Aging for "Connecting Caring Communities" at the Avenue of Best Practices Showcase. The Showcase, held in connection with n4a's annual conference, honored all 2008 Aging Innovations and Achievement award winners.
