Business Institute Takes Its Business Acumen Training on the Road

In the last month, staff from n4a’s Aging and Disability Business Institute have provided business acumen training to AAA staff in four New York cities (Albany, Buffalo, Plattsburgh and Syracuse). The trainings will help prepare New York’s AAAs to play a leading role in the state’s health care transformation—and represent an important step toward making New York an Age-Friendly state.

New Resources Help AAAs Keep Older Adults Connected to the Community

A new toolkit from engAGED: The National Resource Center for Engaging Older Adults provides AAAs with materials that can be used to keep older adults connected to the community. The toolkit includes a calendar of engagement opportunities, infographics, fact sheets and a brochure—all of which be customized with local contact information. Administered by n4a, engAGED is funded by ACL.
