n4a Board Convenes in DC
Twenty-six members of n4a's Board of Directors attended the Dec. 6-8 meeting to help craft our policy and organizational goals for 2017. Participants heard from federal officials, a political strategist and n4a staff on the coming policy landscape and what it means for older adults, caregivers and people with disabilities.
Five of the six standing committees of Board also met and advanced their work on membership, policy, corporate relations and our Annual Conference. Attendees then shared critical information from the regions (and Title VI programs) that they represent—all to best guide n4a's work in the coming year and beyond.
n4a members should always feel free to contact their elected representatives to ask questions or share feedback on n4a's efforts; here's the full listing with contact information for both Board members and Alternates.
The next Board meeting will immediately precede the 23rd Annual Aging Policy Briefing and Capitol Hill Day, which runs April 3-4, 2017. Registration for the APB is now open!
