Last Day to Submit Comments to Federal Family Caregiving Advisory Councils

Today is the last day for consumers, agencies and other stakeholders to submit comments that will inform the work of the RAISE Family Caregiving and Supporting Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Advisory Councils as they create national strategies to support family caregivers.

Advocates have until 11:59 p.m. tonight to respond to requests for public input from both the RAISE Family Caregiving and the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Advisory Councils, both of which were established by Congress in 2018. More details are available online about both requests for information. n4a's comments (RAISE Family Caregiving and Supporting Grandparents Raising Grandchildren) in response to both requests focus on the foundational role that the Title III E National Family Caregiver Support Program serves in developing a national caregiving strategy and detail how OAA programs and services are a critical support option for older relative caregivers.

n4a members will be sure to hear more about the work of these advisory councils as n4a President Deborah Stone-Walls serves on the RAISE Family Caregiving Advisory Council.
