Mobility Fair Highlights Challenges and Solutions in Transporation

It seems like yesterday that we wrapped up the n4a 41st Annual Conference & TradeshowNational Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC) is bringing us back to San Diego with a three-part blog series that highlights outcomes from the 4th Annual Mobility Fair held at the Conference.

Over the years, the Mobility Fair has offered AAAs the opportunity to come together with peers to discuss transportation challenges, potential solutions and best practices in the field.

The blog posts provide discussion summaries from NADTC's three Mobility Fair sessions: NADTC Transportation Listening Session, Filling the Mobility Gap with Volunteer Drivers and Funding a Community Transportation Program: Where Does the Money Come From? Each roundtable session highlighted the many ways transportation is making a difference in communities and generated valuable ideas to improve community transportation services that meet the needs of older adults and people with disabilities. NADTC is inviting questions and comments on the topics covered in these blogs, so be sure to join the conversation by sharing and commenting on the posts.

You can learn out more about NADTC at www.nadtc.org.
