Vital Title VI Survey Launched This Week

On Wednesday, we launched the National Title VI Program Survey, the most important national survey covering the needs, trends and developments concerning Title VI grantees nationwide. But in order to make the survey as robust as possible, we need your participation.

Why Participate?

  • Title VI directors say they have used survey data in meetings with tribal councils.
  • n4a uses the data to make the case for funding with congressional leaders. In fact, for FY2016 n4a helped to successfully secure a Title VI Part A increase of $5 million (19 percent) and Title VI Part C increase of $1.5 million (25 percent).
  • ACL uses the data too; it supports requests for targeted assistance and training.

You should have recieved an email that contains your agency's password and the online survey link. Once you have gathered the suggested materials, the survey should take less than an hour to complete. While the data will be compiled in a national report of key findings, no single Title VI program will ever be identified. n4a collaborates with the Scripps Gerontology Center at Miami University in Ohio to conduct and compile the research and synthesize it for the report. The survey is funded through the Administration for Community Living. The report from the prior survey is available here.
