Savannah Sessions Queue Up the Big Issues

In just three weeks from today, n4a staff begin boarding planes to join you in Savannah, Georgia for the 42nd Annual Conference and Tradeshow! This year's sessions are designed to inform, inspire and challenge you. The hard part will be making your selections!

While the entire agenda is already online, and will be available via our n4a Conference App (the week of July 17) and our printed Conference Program (available onsite), you probably haven't started making your choices yet.

At least for the General Sessions, no hard decisions are necessary—registrants can attend all of them!

The Opening General Session on Sunday night will focus on how we move our mission forward while exploring new directions. Acting ACL Administrator Mary Lazare will share the Trump Administration's initial thoughts on the work of ACL and the Aging Network. We are building in time for questions, so bring yours!

Monday morning will focus on building successful aging and health care partnerships to address the social determinants of health. A panel of physicians and health care leaders will share how they are working with the Aging Network to address the social determinants and improve their patients' well-being. The session will be moderated by Rani Snyder, Program Director, The John A. Hartford Foundation.

Amidst all this change and challenge, how do you find your center as a leader? In “Life's Bulldozer Moments: Finding Your Path and Leading Change” on Tuesday, we'll hear from Donato Tramuto, CEO of Tivity Health in Tennessee, on how to use your commitment, passion, compassion and determination to find your path and successfully lead change.

As we close the Conference Wednesday morning, AARP Foundation President Lisa Marsh Ryerson will provide an update on the Connect2Affect initiative and a panel of your peers will discuss their work to reduce social isolation.

If you're not yet registered for Savannah, it should be top of your to do list! For all the information you need to maximize your n4a Conference experience, visit www.n4aconference.org.
