Business Institute Success Shared at International Aging Conference

n4a's Chief, Programs and Services, Nora Super, along with Dr. Rob Schreiber, Medical Director at Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, gave a presentation on the Aging and Disability Business Institute this week at the annual International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics' Conference.

During an interactive poster session, Super and Dr. Schreiber shared background on the Business Institute, walked through the policy and payment changes moving the health care system toward integrated care, and highlighted successful partnerships between community-based organizations (CBOs) and the health care sector.

The Business Institute provides training and technical assistance to enhance the business capacity of CBOs, positioning them to negotiate, secure and successfully implement contracts with health care entities. Sharing this work at the IAGG Conference, a gathering that attracts a large and diverse group of attendees, is an important part of the Business Institute's outreach and educational campaign.
