According to the newly released n4a 2014 Title VI Survey Results, over 50 percent of survey respondents said that elders call the Title VI program first when they need support from HCBS LTSS programs.

The data was shared during a webinar hosted this week by ACL, featuring expert commentary from Shelly Zylstra, formerly with the Northwest Regional Council and now with ACL Region 10.The survey also reported that nearly all tribal communities have access to some form of health promotion program and that Title VI organizations are heavily engaged in managing and supporting these programs.

“The survey findings resonated with many webinar participants, who shared examples of innovative health programs they are implementing in their communities, said Mary Kaschak, Senior Manager of n4a's Planning and Capacity Development program and also a webinar presenter.
