ACL Issues Call for Falls Prevention Grant Application Reviewers

Do you have insight into the nitty gritty of what makes a falls prevention program work? If so, consider applying or nominating a colleague to serve as a reviewer for two funding opportunities offered by ACL's Office of Nutrition and Health Promotion Programs. Reviewers should have experience in falls prevention, healthy aging, health promotion and/or integrated care.

ACL is seeking reviewers from state agencies, community-based aging service organizations, tribal organizations, research and academia, health care organizations or other entities interested in the health of older adults and people with disabilities. Reviewers will be responsible for attending limited training, reviewing five to six grant applications and participating in a teleconference to discuss their independent scoring of applications. For their time and expertise, non-federal employee reviewers will receive nominal compensation.

Have questions? Interested applicants should email shannnon.skowronski@acl.hhs.gov with a current resume or CV that includes relevant experience and complete contact information.
