Join the Movement to Help Make Medicare
Easier to Understand

n4a is a proud supporter of National Medicare Education Week, Sept. 15 – 21, which is devoted to helping Medicare beneficiaries, their families and caregivers make confident, informed Medicare decisions—just in time for Medicare Open Enrollment (Oct. 15 – Dec. 7). We believe this education campaign perfectly aligns with the work AAAs already do to educate consumers about Medicare and offers you additional tools to make your outreach easier and more successful.

In just five years, National Medicare Education Week has:
  • Engaged directly with thousands of consumers to answer their Medicare questions and provide Medicare information
  • Hosted more than 150 in-person educational events in communities across the country
  • Received dozens of mayoral proclamations naming Sept. 15 – 21 National Medicare Education Week in their communities
The momentum continues and National Medicare Education Week 2017 is set to be another big success! But we need you with us.

Your Area Agency on Aging colleagues in Indianapolis, IN; Richmond, VA; and Phoenix, AZ have committed, and so can you!

Here’s what you can do:
  • Hold an educational event in your community. We’ve gathered everything you need in the Medicare Education Toolkit described below. It’s all downloadable and ready to use.
  • Support scheduled events. Check the Events going on around the country to see if there is one nearby that you and your clients may attend.
  • Use this social media toolkit to raise awareness on your digital channels.
