Staying Safe at Home During the Coronavirus Crisis

New Customizable Flyer Delivers
the Facts on COVID-19

A new flyer from the Eldercare Locator and the Alliance for Aging Research can be used by AAAs and others in the Aging Network to help ensure that older adults have critical information about COVID-19 that can help them stay safe and healthy at home while preventing spread of the disease.

Developed with AAAs and their providers in mind, the new flyer gives older adults and caregivers vital information on COVID-19, such as why older adults and people with chronic conditions are at higher risk, ways to prevent the spread of the disease, symptoms of COVID-19, what to do if you get sick and how to protect against COVID-19 scams that have cropped up all around the country.
Designed to be easy to distribute with home-delivered meals, groceries and wellness checks, the two-sided flyer is also customizable—meaning your AAA can add its logo and contact information to the back page, ensuring older adults in your community know to contact your agency for vital information that can help them continue living independently at home—and reduce social isolation that may occur as growing numbers of people stay indoors to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Download the flyer in English and Spanish. Are you a AAA, Title VI aging program or Aging Network provider? Add your logo and contact information to the customizable versions (English, Spanish)! Need to have the flyer printed? Use these versions to send to your printer (English, Spanish).
