Karon Phillips joined n4a in May 2019. As Program Manager of engAGED: The National Resource Center for Engaging Older Adults, she works closely with project partners and a broad group of stakeholders to develop a national strategy to promote the social engagement of older adults. Karon is passionate about empowering older adults and their communities to promote rich intergenerational exchanges through diverse supportive partnerships.
Karon has more than 15 years of experience in the field of aging, with a focus on community engagement, health promotion and addressing health disparities.
Karon holds a PhD in Aging Studies, an MPH from University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Women’s Studies from Cornell University.
