National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a)
Join us for the second in a five-part webinar series, engAGED: Increasing Social Engagement for Older Adults, focused on increasing the engagement of older adults to promote health and wellness. The series will highlight resources from our partners on the engAGED: National Resource Center for Engaging Older Adults — the National Center for Creative Aging, Generations United, Osher Institutes for Lifelong Learning, and the Older Adults Technology Services (OATS).
This webinar will be presented by Generations United. Generations United helps improve the lives of children, youth, and older adults through intergenerational collaboration, public policies and programs. Presenters include Sheri Steinig of Generations United, Lynn Haglin, Vice President/KIDS Plus Director, the Northland Foundation (MN), and Pam Plimpton, Intergeneration Coordinator, San Diego County Aging and Independence Services (CA). In this webinar you will learn about best practices for engaging older adults through intergenerational programs. Presenters for all of the webinars will share inspiring stories, tips, and resources to help the Aging Network increase the social engagement of older adults.
You’re invited to join us for one or all of the following webinars. Each webinar will be recorded and made available in the “Webinars” section of the engAGED webpage.
