More than 53 million Americans are caring for a friend and family memberroughly 9.5 million more individuals when last examined in 2015. Drawn from a national study of more than 1,400 caregivers conducted by the National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC) and AARP, findings in Caregiving in the U.S. paint a portrait of the state of caregiving in an aging America. Communities in the midst of the global pandemic are now grappling with social isolationand when the data show than 21% of caregivers of adults reported feeling aloneit's up to innovators and aging leaders to find new solutions to address isolation in homes, communities, and states.
