This is an exempt position reporting directly to the CEO on the staff of the Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida, (PSA 8). This position has overall direct responsibility for the Agency’s Fiscal operations. This position must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace while managing staff. This position requires a high degree of organizational skill and independent action which demonstrates prudent judgement and initiative.

| Requirements |
The CFO is responsible for implementing and maintaining an efficient internally controlled accounting system, auditing and evaluating Agency contracts, subcontracts, developing and maintaining fiscal procedures and providing reports to the CEO and the Finance Chair of the Board of Directors. This position serves as the resident expert regarding the Fiscal Manual provided by the Department of Elder Affairs. This position is responsible for developing and analyzing the Agency budget. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with lead agencies and other providers regarding Federal and State grant funding requirements. Complies with all security and confidentiality requirements of the Agency and all Federal and State regulations. |
