Peter Lane, Director, Leadership and Volunteer Development, joined n4a in 2016. Peter comes to n4a with more than 20 years of experience as a leadership and organizational effectiveness educator, manager and consultant.
He is responsible for directing the Aging Network Volunteer Resource Center (ANVRC), which was developed to increase the number of older adult volunteers nationwide and to enrich their experience as they assume a critical role within AAAs. In addition, Peter has an active role in planning n4a's acclaimed Leadership Institute and other initiatives related to leadership development.
Recently, Peter served as Director of Programs at the Institute for Conservation of Leadership, where he directed leadership and capacity building consulting services including needs assessments, contracting, monitoring service delivery by consultants and evaluation. He has also managed training programs for volunteers at the National Association of Counties and Whitman-Walker Health.
