Volunteer Resource Center
The Aging Network Volunteer Resource Center was designed to build the capacity of Area Agencies on Aging to engage older adult volunteers and to enrich the experience of these volunteers and was funded by the Administration on Community Living.
In order to build upon this foundational work, the Volunteer Resource Center and its ample resources have become an integral component of a new n4a effort, engAGED: The National Resource Center for Engaging Older Adults found here.
To learn more about emerging trends, resources and replication strategies that the Aging Network can use and tailor in their communities to encourage and support engagement through volunteering, as well as the programmatic efforts of our partners, visit engagingolderadults.org.
