Age knows no limitations as far as giving back to others. According to data from the Corporation for National and Community Service
, one in four Americans aged 55 and older volunteers. The Aging Network relies on volunteers to meet its mission of assisting older adults to live at home with dignity and independence for as long as possible. There is even strong evidence to suggest that involving older volunteers not only produces substantial economic benefits for the Aging Network, but also reaps great health benefits to the older adult volunteers themselves.
